Through our commitment policy, we are working concretely to put an end to child labour. Some financial actors decide to exclude companies linked to child labour sectors, such as tobacco or cocoa production. Exclusion of these sectors does not mean that children will stop working. It's more like sweeping the problem under the rug : it will still remain.

As a major global actor in responsible investing, it is our duty to understand existing practices, promote the best ones, to suggest improvements and to evaluate progress. This is what we called engagement for influence, which is based on themes related to many sectors. Since 2013, we have met 83 companies and have discussed of 7 major themes with them.
